Vice President of Engineering and Product Development

PGuardian Technologies, Inc. is looking for a Vice President of Engineering and Product Development. We are an early stage technology company based in the Bay Area. We develop privacy and security solutions for e-commerce.

Our Company is represented by the corporate law firm Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich, and Rosati and by IP specialists Townsend and Townsend and Crew in Palo Alto.

The Company is currently in stealth mode.

We seek a Vice President of Engineering with extensive experience in Internet security and e-commerce.

You will work with the Company's co-founders and experienced Silicon Valley senior executives and entrepreneurs. You will have a significant impact on the Company's multi-products strategy and growth.

Requirements:
- Extensive experience in computer engineering and complex e-commerce integration
- Extensive understanding and experience of Java and XML development for complex e-commerce transactions systems
- Solid experience in online payment systems and networks
- Solid experience and personal interest in security and privacy technologies
- Solid experience in web portal development
- Excellent communication and team work skills
- High energy level, extreme professionalism and a positive attitude
- Experience in working with marketing and sales team
- Knowledge of parsing/language processing technologies is a plus
- Willingness to assist/contribute to development (in Java) during the first months is a plus
- Strong academic background is a plus

Responsibilities:
- Participate in key corporate decisions
- Create, plan, and implement product development strategy
- Hire and manage IT team members
